This program seeks to provide interns a new way to display their research projects by expressing information in new and novel ways, and sparking new ideas and discoveries.

Using visual communications skills improves interns’ ability to share their research through a different lens. Intern arts-based projects will be displayed on the website and promoted through social media. The INL Intern Art program has three goals:

  1. Explore research, potentially yielding new insights and novel paths forward.
  2. Create a deeper, more enriching experience for interns by encouraging them to explore their research through a variety of senses and emotions.
  3. Drive a deeper interest in science via this mode of communication and research exploration.

Our pilot program is currently underway. Please check back soon to review The Art of INL Science, Intern Style.
